This is Nicholas Swingler’s second one-man book. His first, Dream of the Condom and other poems, excited Gary Kurtz, producer of Star Wars, to write “wonderfully discerning poetry”.

Nicholas Swingler was poet-in-residence with the Friends of Kensal Green Cemetery, London, where he claims to have somewhat revived the lost art of epitaph-writing.

He lives now in Hereford, still wielding an umbrella for shade against immoderate sun.
